In the “Users” menu, Scouts and Followers as well as Admins and Innovation Managers of the company are managed centrally.
 
As an Admin, you manage via the respective tab:
  • Scouts
    Invite users to become Scouts of the company and remove existing Scouts from the company.
  • Follower
    Add Followers of the company as Scouts of the company, and remove Followers from the company.
  • Manager
    Add users to the company as Admins or Innovation Managers, change their role and remove them from the respective role.
 
 
As Innovation Manager you can change the role of the user in the respective tab:
  • Scouts
    Invite users to become Scouts of the company.
  • Follower
    Add Followers of the company as Scouts of the company.
 
Note: The administration of Scouts, Evaluators and Campaign Members for a campaign is handled in the campaign via the tab “User Management”.

An Admin has access to the entire platform and all functionalities. He makes the company-wide settings.

There must be at least one Admin per company; there can be as many Admins per company as desired.

If the user is not yet a Scout at AnyIdea when registering as an Admin, a Scout profile is created for this user at the same time.

An Admin can be deleted. Thus the deleted Admin loses his Admin profile, his Scout profile remains.

The Admin has following permissions:

  • Change company settings
  • Change innovation settings
  • User Management: Management of the user roles “Admin” and “Innovation Manager”
  • Campaigns: create and manage, evaluate ideas, convert idea into a project
An Innovation Manager can manage campaigns.
There can be any number of Innovation Managers per company.
If the user is not yet a Scout at AnyIdea when registering as Innovation Manager, a Scout profile is created for this user at the same time.
An Innovation Manager can be deleted. This means that the deleted Innovation Manager loses its Innovation Manager profile, but his Scout profile remains.
The Innovation Manager has following permissions:
  • own campaigns (campaigns created by the Innovation Manager):
    create and manage, evaluate ideas, convert idea into project
     
  • campaigns created by other Admins or Innovation Managers of the company: read-only
A campaign can be managed alone or together with other Campaign Members. The creator of a campaign can add any number of Members to the campaign. Campaign creator and Campaign Members have the same rights on the campaign. A Campaign Member can be removed at any time.
Only Admins or Innovation Managers can become Members of a campaign.
A project can be managed alone or together with other Project Members. The creator of a project can add any number of Project Members. Creator of the project and Project Member have the same rights. A Project Member can be removed at any time.
Only Admins or Innovation Managers can become Project Members.
Evaluators can assess all ideas of a campaign.
Each Campaign Member has evaluation rights.
Scouts can also be added to an ongoing campaign as Evaluators. An Evaluator can be removed at any time.
A Scout is a user who can send ideas to a campaign. To do so, he must either register with AnyIdea or, alternatively, send his idea for a campaign without registering as a guest user.
As a guest user you have to be invited by a company to a campaign via the Share-Link to be able to send ideas.
A Scout can be invited to AnyIdea by a company, or he can register directly on the AnyIdea platform.
Scouts of a company can be employees of the company but also any external persons.
In each campaign it can be defined which Scouts can participate.
A Follower is a Scout or a guest user at AnyIdea who follows at least one public campaign of the company. He can also send ideas to public campaigns of the company.
An Admin or an Innovation Manager can add a Follower of the company as Scout of the company. This way, this user can be easily and directly invited to all future campaigns of the company.
In order to enable Admins and Innovation Managers of a company to participate as Scouts and send ideas, a Scout profile is automatically created when they register.
Admins and Innovation Managers can switch between their roles in the portal on the upper right corner.
Note: If a Scout is invited to become an Admin or Innovation Manager, no new registration with AnyIdea is necessary. From the next login on, this Scout will have his role as Admin or Innovation Manager available.
